Exploring Smart Lighting Solutions and Product Ideas

Hey everyone! I’ve been really inspired by some of the product ideas and smart lighting solutions shared in this community. It’s amazing to see how creative and innovative everyone is getting with their setups. I wanted to share some of my thoughts and experiences in case they might spark some ideas for others or help someone who’s just starting out.

First off, I’ve been experimenting with smart Christmas tree lights, and honestly, it’s been a blast! The idea of having an artificial tree with pre-installed lights is something I’m really excited about. It opens up so many possibilities for creating dynamic scenes and effects. I’d love to hear what others think about this concept—maybe we could collaborate on some DIY projects or share tips on how to make it even better!

On another note, I’ve been diving into smart lighting apps and was curious about the Color Coordinator and Smart Lighting Smart App. I tried transitioning one of my setups from Color Coordinator to the Smart App and noticed that while it worked initially, the color coordination for my under-cabinet lights wasn’t as seamless as I hoped. I ended up using the turn on/set color method, but it does limit the color options. I’m wondering if others have faced similar issues or found workarounds. Any insights would be super helpful!

I also wanted to touch on the topic of smart cameras. I’ve been using Wyze Cam V3 for a while now, and it’s been a great addition to my setup. However, the 6’ power cord is a bit short for my needs. I’ve been looking for a reliable USB power cable extension, preferably around 25’, that’s safe for USB devices. If anyone has recommendations or has found a good solution, I’d love to hear about it!

Lastly, I’ve been really impressed by the community’s willingness to share tips and troubleshoot together. Whether it’s about integrating devices, fixing connectivity issues, or just brainstorming new ideas, it’s awesome to be part of such a supportive group. Let’s keep the creativity flowing and help each other out as we continue to explore the world of smart home technology!

Cheers to all the innovators and tinkerers out there! :rocket:
