I recently embarked on a project to redo my bedroom closet, and it quickly became clear that I needed some smart lighting solutions. My goal was to add colorful lighting without having to install new outlets in the closet, which led me to explore battery-powered options.
I’ve been a fan of Govee products for their affordability and versatility, so I naturally turned to them for this project. While Govee does offer some battery-powered lighting options, like the StarPal, I was hoping for more variety—specifically string lights, strip lights, and a battery-powered lamp similar to the Aura Lamp. I reached out to the community to see if others had suggestions or experiences with such products.
The response was overwhelming! Many users shared their own experiences and creative solutions. One user mentioned using battery-powered RGB string lights they found on Amazon, while another suggested a DIY approach using rechargeable batteries and RGB LED strips. These ideas were incredibly helpful and gave me a lot to consider.
