Hi everyone, I’ve been experimenting with our outdoor curtain lights installed on the garage, and I must say, it’s been a fun project! I’ve set up 11 different images on auto-play to create a random loop for our Christmas display. It’s amazing how it adds so much variety to our festive decorations without manually switching images.
However, I’ve come across a couple of challenges that I’d love to get some advice on. First, the minimum time configurable before switching to the next image is 5 minutes. I’d love to see an option to set it to switch every 5-10 seconds, especially since I live on a small road where people might only glance at the display for a short time before moving on.
Another issue I’ve noticed is with the auto-play feature and my timers. After the lights automatically shut down for the night, they sometimes power back on after 5 minutes to cycle to the next image, overriding my “off” timer command. This is a bit frustrating because I’d like to leave the auto-play enabled without it interfering with my timers.
I’d really appreciate any tips or suggestions on how to resolve these issues. Maybe there’s a workaround or a feature update that could address this? Happy holidays to everyone, and thanks in advance for your help!
