Exploring Smart Lighting Solutions for Home Renovation

Hi everyone! I’m in the midst of renovating my kitchen and living room, and I’m really excited to incorporate a smart lighting system. My goal is to create a seamless and elegant setup that I can control with touch sensors. I’m planning to install around 18-20 dimmable LED lights, spread across four different zones to handle various areas of the rooms.

I’ve considered using Philips Hue since I already have the bridge, but I’m hesitant about the cost. I’ve also looked into smart switches like the ones from Shelly, which could be a cost-effective alternative. I’m curious if I can avoid using physical switches altogether by using a smart LED driver.

I’m living in Europe, so I need to ensure that whatever I choose is available here. I’m also hoping to integrate everything with my existing Hubitat setup for local control and easy programming. If anyone has experience with similar setups or has recommendations on LED lights, switches, or drivers that work well together, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

This project is a bit overwhelming, but I’m excited to dive in and create a beautiful, functional lighting system. Thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions!
