Hi everyone, I’ve been exploring smart lighting solutions for my home theater setup and thought I’d share my findings and experiences with you all.
I recently came across the Govee TV Lights, which seem like a fantastic option for enhancing the movie-watching experience. However, I have a 120-inch projector, and I noticed that Govee currently only supports TVs up to 85 inches. This made me wonder if there’s a way to adapt these lights for larger setups or if Govee might consider expanding their product range to include home theater owners like myself.
I also looked into Philips Hue, which offers a TV HDMI Sync Box without size limitations. While Philips Hue is a great option, I already have several Govee devices and would love to integrate them seamlessly. Maybe there’s a workaround or a creative way to use both brands together?
Another idea that came to mind is the possibility of creating a 3D room model in an app, similar to Samsung SmartThings, where I can place LEDs strategically around the room. This would allow for a more immersive lighting experience, especially for movie nights.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences with smart lighting solutions for home theaters. Have any of you successfully integrated multiple brands or found innovative ways to enhance your setup? I’m excited to see what the community has to offer and hopefully get some inspiration for my project!
Looking forward to your insights! ![]()
