Hi everyone, I’m really excited to dive into the world of smart lighting and see what possibilities are out there. I recently switched to SmartThings and have been thoroughly impressed with its capabilities. However, there’s one feature I’ve been curious about: simultaneous activation of lights. During my stay at a hotel that used Lutron’s Stanza setup, I noticed how elegant it looked when all the lights faded on at the same time. It created such a seamless and luxurious ambiance that I want to replicate in my own home.
Currently, my Z-Wave switch-controlled lights turn on one after another, which is functional but lacks that polished touch. I’m wondering if there’s a way to configure SmartThings to activate all my lights simultaneously. Is there a specific lighting system or a workaround that can achieve this? I’ve heard about using scenes or groups, but I’m not entirely sure how to set them up for simultaneous activation. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Additionally, I’m curious about the experiences others have had with different lighting systems. Have you found any particular setup that works exceptionally well for simultaneous activation?
