Hey everyone! I’m a college student looking to spruce up my dorm room with some smart lighting. I’ve been eyeing the Hubitat C-7 hub, but I’m a bit confused about how it’ll work with my setup. The Ethernet port in my dorm is on a separate network from my phone and laptop, so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to connect everything properly. Will the hub still function without being on the same network as my devices? I’m really hoping to set this up without too much hassle or cost. Any advice or experiences from others who’ve done something similar would be super helpful!
