I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting lately, and it’s been quite the journey! 
I’ve always been a fan of Philips Hue, but I’m now exploring other options to expand my setup without breaking the bank. One thing I’ve noticed is the growing popularity of Zigbee devices, especially when paired with platforms like Hubitat. 
Recently, I came across the MiBoxer RGB Zigbee Remote and thought it would be a great addition to my setup. It works wonders with Touchlink, but here’s the kicker: when paired with my SmartThings Hub, it caused all my bulbs to go offline. 
That was unexpected! After some research, I discovered that a simple Tuya-based hub from Lidl worked seamlessly with the remote, which made me wonder—why can’t my advanced SmartThings Hub do the same? 
I decided to give Hubitat a shot, and wow, the integration was smoother than I expected! 
The remote now works perfectly without affecting my other devices. It’s amazing how a little experimentation can lead to such a satisfying solution. I’m now more confident in exploring other Zigbee devices and integrating them into my smart home ecosystem.
