Hello Govee enthusiasts! 
I wanted to share an exciting project I’ve been working on that combines my love for smart lighting with a cherished antique in my collection—a beautiful porcelain Cockatoo. 
The idea came to me while organizing my home. I noticed this little Cockatoo sitting on a shelf, collecting dust. It’s not just any ornament; it’s a family heirloom, and I wanted to give it a new lease on life. That’s when I thought, why not integrate some Govee smart lighting to bring it to life?
I decided to install a Govee LED strip under the Cockatoo’s base. The warm white light creates a stunning glow, making it the centerpiece of my living room. Plus, with the Govee app, I can control the brightness and even set it to change colors for different occasions. It’s perfect for creating a cozy ambiance during movie nights or adding a touch of elegance during dinner parties.
One of the best parts of this project is how easy it was to set up. The Govee app made it a breeze to pair the LED strip with my existing smart devices. I even created a scene where the lights dim automatically when I press the “Goodnight” button on my Amazon Echo. It’s these little touches that make my home feel truly smart and personalized.
