That said, I’m still a bit hesitant about switching entirely to WiFi bulbs. My current router is from my internet provider, and I’m not sure if it can handle the bandwidth for multiple smart devices. I’ve heard that Lifx offers great performance but at a higher price point, while Yeelight is a more budget-friendly alternative. Another thing I’ve been thinking about is creating a comprehensive lighting setup that can notify me of specific events, like when my son arrives home from school. I’ve seen some creative solutions with lights changing colors based on certain triggers, but I’m not entirely sure how to implement that in Home Assistant. On a lighter note, I’ve also been experimenting with different lighting scenes using my Hue remote. It’s amazing how a simple change in lighting can completely transform the ambiance of a room. I’ve even gotten my wife on board, who initially thought I was overdoing it with all the lights. Now she’s the one suggesting new scenes!
