Hi all, I’m really excited to dive into the world of smart home security! I’ve been eyeing the ZKTeco Bluetooth & Fingerprint Smart Lock and the Yale Assure Touchscreen Deadbolt for a while now, and I’d love to hear from anyone who’s had hands-on experience with these.
I currently have an Echo Plus acting as my Zigbee hub, and I’m curious if these locks would integrate seamlessly with my existing setup. I’ve heard great things about Zigbee’s reliability, but I want to make sure there aren’t any hidden hiccups before I commit.
Another thing I’m pondering is how these locks would interact with my broader smart home ecosystem. For instance, would I be able to set up routines where the lock automatically unlocks when my phone comes within range, or integrates with my security cameras for added convenience?
If anyone has any insights, tips, or even just their personal experiences, I’d be thrilled to hear them! I’m really looking forward to making my home both smarter and safer. ![]()
