I’ve recently joined the smart home revolution and am excited to integrate a smart lock into my setup. However, I face a unique challenge as I live in an apartment where altering the front of the lock isn’t an option due to my lease agreement. All the smart locks supported by my system require replacing the entire lock mechanism, which isn’t feasible for me. I’m curious if anyone has found a workaround or discovered a product that can be added to an existing lock without changing the key system. Perhaps something similar to the August lock, which I’ve heard about but haven’t seen supported yet. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
