Exploring Smart Locks and Temperature Sensors

I’ve been diving into the world of smart home devices lately, and I must say, it’s been a fascinating journey. One of the most exciting features I’ve come across is the new Z-Wave lock with codes. I recently updated my iPad app to version 2.10.0, and I was thrilled to see the option to create lock codes for my family and friends. It’s such a convenient way to manage access without the hassle of physical keys. I set my locks to use this new device type and installed the Smart Locks app from the marketplace. It’s now seamlessly integrated into my dashboard under home solutions, and I couldn’t be happier with how it works.Another area I’ve been exploring is temperature sensors. I have a small Aqara temperature sensor (Zigbee) and a Cleverio small socket (Z-Wave). I tried setting up a flow where the socket would turn off if the temperature in the room exceeded 25 degrees Celsius, but it didn’t work as expected. I’m curious if anyone else has encountered similar issues or has tips on how to troubleshoot this. The logic seems sound, but maybe there’s something I’m missing in the configuration. On a lighter note, I’ve also been experimenting with DIY projects to add some Halloween spirit to my home. I created a banner and a simple decoration using some LED lights, and it’s been a fun way to get into the festive mood. If anyone has more DIY ideas for autumn or Halloween, I’d love to hear them!Overall, the journey of integrating these smart devices has been both challenging and rewarding. Each new feature I discover adds a layer of convenience and comfort to my home. I’m excited to see what the future holds for smart home technology and can’t wait to explore more possibilities.
