I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of automating plant care, especially for my small balcony garden. After reading through some incredible posts about smart watering systems, I decided to dive into creating my own setup. Here’s what I’ve come up with so far!
My goal is to use solar power to run a pump that waters my plants automatically. I’ve done some research and found a few interesting components, but I’m still figuring out how to connect everything properly. The idea is to have a tank with water, a pump to draw water from it, and a solar panel to power the system. I’ve also come across some great examples, like this automatic watering system, which uses a NodeMCU to control the pump and monitor water levels. It’s super inspiring!
I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience with similar setups. What components would you recommend? I’m particularly unsure about the wiring and current management. Any tips or shopping list suggestions would be amazing! 
In the meantime, I’ve started sketching out my setup and gathering materials. I’m excited to see how this project turns out and hopefully, my plants will be happier and healthier than ever before!
