Hi everyone, I’m currently exploring ways to integrate my two ProScan 50-inch TVs into my smart home setup. I’ve come across some smart plugs that claim to control TV power, but I’m a bit confused about how they actually work. From what I understand, turning off a smart plug cuts power to the TV entirely, which is different from just toggling it on or off like a fan. I’ve heard some plugs can handle this, but I’m not sure how reliable they are for TVs specifically. Has anyone successfully used smart plugs to control their TVs? I’d love to hear about your experiences, any tips, or alternative solutions you might have. It would be great to find a seamless way to manage my TVs without any hiccups!
