This results in lights flickering briefly before turning off, which can be quite frustrating. Exploring Other Options
While I love the flexibility of Z2MQTT, I’ve also been researching other smart switch options that might offer more reliability. For instance, the Philips Hue Dimmer Switch and Hue Tap Switch seem like solid alternatives, especially with their integration into Hue Essentials for custom automations. I’m also intrigued by the Lutron Aurora switches, which offer a sleek design and seamless integration with smart home systems.
