Hello everyone, I’m new to the Tado community and I’m really excited to dive into the world of smart thermostats. I recently came across the Tado V3 Wireless Heating and Hot Water Smart Thermostat Starter Kit, and I’m curious about its capabilities. From what I understand, there are a few different models available, including the wired smart thermostat, the wireless smart thermostat, and the standalone temperature sensor. I’m wondering if the wireless smart thermostat can also function as a temperature sensor for one of my smart radiator valves. Is there a difference between the wireless smart thermostat and the standalone temperature sensor, or are they essentially the same? I’ve read some posts where people seem to treat them as separate products, which has me a bit confused. If the wireless smart thermostat does have the functionality of a temperature sensor, that would be fantastic because it would save me from having to purchase an additional device. I’m also curious about the setup process. Does the starter kit include everything I need to get started, or will I need to buy extra components? I’m really looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences with these devices. Thanks in advance for your help!
