Exploring Smart Thermostats and Zigbee Lighting Solutions

Hi everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation lately and wanted to share some of my experiences and questions. First off, I’ve been looking into smart thermostats for my home, particularly for my radiator in the bathroom. I’ve heard great things about Zigbee devices, but I’m not entirely sure if every smart thermostat can be used with any radiator. Has anyone had success with this? I’d love to hear your experiences and any tips you might have!

On another note, I’ve been exploring Zigbee lighting solutions and came across the Philips Hue Signe Gradient Stehlampe. It’s beautiful, but I’m curious if there are alternative brands that offer similar functionality without relying on a cloud service. I’m using Home Assistant, so integration is key for me. Any recommendations or experiences would be fantastic!

Lastly, I’ve been experimenting with creating a template sensor for weather forecasts but ran into some issues after a recent core update. The sensor works perfectly, but after the update, it started throwing errors related to the forecast array. I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this and if there’s a workaround or fix. I’d appreciate any insights or solutions!

Thanks to everyone for sharing their knowledge and experiences. It’s amazing to be part of such a supportive community!
