As I settle into my new apartment, I’m excited to upgrade my underfloor heating system with smart thermostats. After disconnecting the old central controller, I relied on a custom setup with temperature sensors and Shelly relays, but now I want something more user-friendly for my family.
I’ve been researching thermostats that integrate well with OpenHAB and offer both Wi-Fi and Zigbee options. The ideal device would have an open API for seamless integration and a sleek design—preferably with a black background and vibrant colors on the touchscreen.
One model that caught my attention is the Govee H6113, which I recently received. It’s compact and stylish, fitting perfectly with my home decor. I’m curious to see how it performs with underfloor heating and if it can be controlled through OpenHAB.
I’d love to hear recommendations from others who’ve successfully integrated smart thermostats into their underfloor heating systems. What models have worked well for you, and how did you set them up with OpenHAB? Let’s share tips and experiences to make this upgrade as smooth as possible!
