Exploring Smart Vacuum Mapping Capabilities

Hey everyone, I’ve been really impressed with my smart vacuum’s mapping features, but I have a few questions I’d love to get some insights on. First off, I noticed that when I move furniture around, the vacuum doesn’t seem to automatically update its map. For instance, I left some chairs around a table, and the vacuum mapped the chair legs, making it unable to clean under the table. If I remove the chairs, will it recognize the new open space and adjust its path accordingly? Or does it need a manual reset? I’d love to know if it’s smart enough to adapt without me having to intervene every time.

Another thing I’m curious about is how the vacuum handles new obstacles. If I add a piece of furniture or a new item in the room, will it automatically detect and update its map? Or do I need to manually adjust the map in the app? Speaking of the app, I came across the map editor in the latest update and was excited to try it out. However, I’m having a bit of trouble squaring off a room in the map. I can only seem to make lines from the side borders to merge or split areas, but I can’t draw a line from the middle. Does anyone have tips on how to do this effectively?

On a positive note, the vacuum has been a lifesaver for keeping my floors clean, especially with its ability to detect and avoid small objects. It’s amazing how technology has advanced to make our lives easier. I’d love to hear from others who have similar experiences or tips on optimizing the mapping feature. Let’s keep the conversation going and share our smart home hacks!
