Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to seek some advice on finding a smart power outlet that integrates seamlessly with SmartThings and provides reliable energy usage monitoring. My goal is to set up an alert system to notify me when my washer completes its cycle. While I’ve come across several devices that claim to offer energy monitoring, many of them either lack this feature entirely or don’t support SmartThings integration. I’ve tried a few options, including the Sengled outlets, which do show energy usage in their native app, but this data isn’t accessible when linked to SmartThings. I even attempted to switch the device type in the IDE to “Zigbee Metering Plug,” but unfortunately, that didn’t resolve the issue. I’d prefer to avoid spending around $40-$50 on this, but I’m open to suggestions if there’s a reliable option within this price range. I’ve had success using vibration sensors with my dryer, but this approach doesn’t seem to work as effectively for my washer. Any recommendations or insights would be greatly appreciated!
