Exploring Smart Water Valve Controllers with High Torque

I’ve been on the hunt for a smart water shut-off valve controller that can handle the high torque needed for our main water line. Our house was built back in 2008, and while the plumbing isn’t ancient, the main shut-off valve has seen better days. After cleaning off the rust, I noticed it still takes a good amount of force to turn—especially in the latter two-thirds of the rotation. I’m curious if others have encountered similar issues and what solutions they’ve found. Has anyone successfully integrated a high-torque smart valve into their system? I’m also considering consulting a plumber about upgrading the valve or installing a newer one alongside the existing one for redundancy. Any recommendations or experiences to share would be invaluable!
