Exploring SmartHome Automation with Shelly and Wyze

I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation lately, and I must say, it’s been an exciting journey! :rocket: I recently set up a system using Shelly 2.5 devices to automate my south-facing blinds based on temperature and sunlight. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but the results are amazing! :sun_with_face:

One thing I’m particularly proud of is how I integrated my Wyze cameras into the setup. I wanted to create a live feed grid on my TV, and after some research, I found a great solution using Wyze’s API and a simple script. It’s now running 24/7, and it’s incredibly useful for monitoring the house while I’m away. :tv:

I also came across a fantastic tip about using the Devolo alarm siren with OpenHAB. While I haven’t implemented it yet, it’s on my list of things to try. The flexibility of smart devices never ceases to amaze me! :tada:

For anyone looking to get started with automation, I highly recommend experimenting with basic rules and gradually scaling up. It’s incredibly satisfying to see everything work seamlessly together. :bulb:
