For instance, setting up a ‘movie night’ scene that dims the lights, adjusts the color temperature, and even sends a notification to my smart speaker to play ambient sounds. The ability to fine-tune color settings using RGB sliders, as suggested by Trace+, would take this to the next level. I can only imagine the creative possibilities that would unlock!
One challenge I’ve encountered is ensuring consistent firmware updates across all devices. I recently had to troubleshoot an issue with my Shelly Wall Display, which required a firmware update. The process was a bit tricky, but with some research and patience, I managed to get it sorted. It’s a good reminder to regularly check for updates and ensure all devices are running the latest firmware.
Another area I’ve been exploring is security. I’ve implemented several layers of protection, including VPN access for remote control and ensuring all ports on my router are properly secured. It’s comforting to know that my smart home setup is robust and safe from potential breaches.
