Hi everyone, I’m new to the SmartThings ecosystem and I’m really excited about how it’s transforming my home automation setup! I recently added water sensors under all my appliances, and they did an amazing job alerting me when my washer leaked a few days ago. That was a huge relief!
Now, I’m looking to expand my system even further. I have this large vessel of water that I want to monitor, and I want SmartThings to notify me when it runs dry. I’ve been experimenting with my existing water sensor and the NotifyMe SmartApp, but I can’t seem to find a way to set it up for ‘dry’ notifications instead of ‘wet’. Is there a trick I’m missing here? I’d love to hear if anyone has successfully done something similar or has any tips to share!
It would be awesome to have this setup for my garden watering system as well. Maybe I could automate it to refill the vessel when it gets too low. The possibilities seem endless, but I need a bit of guidance to get there. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!
