Hi everyone, I just got the SmartThings Hub Kit and I’m loving it so far! I’ve been able to set up a few automations and integrate some devices, which has already made my life a bit easier. However, I have one small issue that I’m hoping the community can help me with.
I have this All-Purpose Sensor that I want to mount on my front door trim. The thing is, the trim doesn’t really have a flat surface to work with, and I’d prefer not to chisel into it if I can help it. Does anyone have any creative mounting solutions for this kind of situation? I’ve seen some people use adhesive mounts or even some DIY solutions, but I’m not sure what would work best here.
I’m really impressed with how versatile the SmartThings Hub Kit is, and I can’t wait to explore more features and devices. But for now, I’d love to get this sensor set up properly so I can start monitoring my front door with ease.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions! I’m sure someone out there has faced a similar challenge and found a clever solution.
