Hello everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart home integration and thought I’d share my journey with you. I recently set up my Arlo cameras with SmartThings, and while the arming process works seamlessly, I’ve noticed an issue when disarming upon arrival. The Arlo cameras don’t seem to disarm automatically, which is a bit frustrating. I’ve tried removing and reconfiguring the integration, but the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered this, or perhaps found a workaround? I’d love to hear your experiences and tips!
On another note, I’ve been exploring the Tribal Era Survival guide mentioned in one of the posts. It’s fascinating how prepared one can be with just a few essential tools. The Swiss Army Knife, medical kit, and sustainable food sources are brilliant ideas. I’m considering how I might apply similar principles to my own smart home setup for emergency preparedness.
Switching gears, I’ve been experimenting with OpenHAB3 after migrating from OH2. The transition has been mostly smooth, but I’m curious about the future of widgets versus HABPanel. From what I gather on YouTube, HABPanel seems more versatile, but I’m not entirely sure. If anyone has insights or recommendations, I’d appreciate it!
Lastly, I’ve been impressed by the creativity in some of the community-driven projects, like the Hobby servo controller linked to a Wyze Cam. It’s inspiring to see how members combine hardware and software to create custom solutions. I’m thinking of starting a similar project myself, perhaps integrating a servo with my existing smart devices. Who knows, maybe I’ll document the process here!
Overall, it’s amazing to see the collective knowledge and innovation within this community. I look forward to learning more and contributing my own experiences as I continue my smart home journey. Thanks for reading, and feel free to share your thoughts!
