I recently upgraded to the latest version of the SmartThings Motion Sensor, which is battery-powered and claims ZigBee 3.0 compatibility. However, I’ve read that battery-operated devices can’t function as repeaters. I’m curious if this model is an exception or if there’s a workaround to enable it as a repeater. This would be incredibly useful for extending coverage in my home. Has anyone successfully used their SmartThings Motion Sensor as a repeater? Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!
