I recently purchased a few Smartthings sockets, specifically the newer version with the manual override button. While the older model had a consistent blue indicator that stayed on when activated, the new version features a single green LED that only lights up briefly when powered on. This change is a bit puzzling, especially for devices that don’t have their own status indicators. I’m curious if others are experiencing the same behavior and if there’s a way to keep the LED illuminated continuously. 
The brief illumination makes it challenging to verify the socket’s status without checking the app, which is inconvenient. I wonder if this is a feature or a potential issue with the new design. Has anyone found a workaround or setting to keep the LED on? It would be great to have the same functionality as the older model for consistency and ease of use.
