Hey everyone! I’m really excited to dive into the world of solar panels for my home security system. I’ve just set up a new Arlo security system and I’m thinking about adding a camera. The challenge is that the only decent place to mount the camera doesn’t have nearby power, so I’m considering a solar panel setup. However, I’m in South Florida, which means a lot of shade, even though it’s great for keeping cool. The direct sunlight I can get is only about an hour a day, and it’s often filtered through trees. I’m curious if anyone has experience with this kind of setup and how much direct sunlight is actually needed for it to work effectively.
