Exploring SuretyDIY 1 for Self-Monitoring

Hi everyone, I’ve recently inherited a 2GIG security system and I’m really interested in setting up self-monitoring using SuretyDIY 1. I’ve got a Verizon ADC module locked by Monitronics Firmware (V1.10.1) and I have access to the default installer code. The setup includes a Conchord 4 box with antennas, 12 window sensors, 2 motion sensors, a siren, and 2 touchpads. I’m curious about the likelihood of Monitronics unlocking the module for another carrier and whether they’d change the default installer code in the process. My goal is to have a self-monitoring system where the alarm sounds upon breach, with alerts and access via my iPhone. I’m on T-Mobile, so I’d appreciate any insights on how to achieve this without a monthly fee. I’ve heard great things about SuretyDIY, but I’m a bit nervous about the technical aspects. Any tips or experiences from others who’ve made the switch would be invaluable!
