Exploring Tapo Camera Integration and Backup Solutions

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with the Tapo cameras and the integration process with my home automation setup. I’ve been really impressed with the quality and ease of use of the Tapo C720, C225, and C410 cameras. They’ve seamlessly integrated into my system using the Tapo Control app, and the motion detection and video recording features have been working flawlessly.

However, I’ve been trying to figure out a way to back up the recorded clips from the cameras to my NAS, which is already integrated into my home automation setup. My idea was to have the cameras automatically sync their recorded clips to the NAS as soon as they’re saved on the SD cards. I’ve explored the media synchronization feature, but I’m a bit stuck on setting up the correct network path for the NAS. I’ve attached some screenshots of my current configuration, but despite the logs showing that the download process is happening, nothing seems to be appearing on the NAS.

I’d really appreciate any insights or tips from someone who might have successfully set up a similar backup system. It would be amazing to have a reliable off-camera storage solution without having to manually transfer files. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
