I recently came across the Aqara Presence Sensor FP1E and wanted to share my experience with this innovative device. Built on Zigbee protocol and supporting Matter, it’s a game-changer for home automation. The FP1E uses millimetre wave technology to detect human presence, even when sitting still, and covers up to 6 meters. Its AI algorithms filter out false triggers like pets and mirrors, making it a reliable addition to any smart home setup. I’m excited to explore its potential for energy-saving automation, like turning off lights when no one’s in the room!
On another note, I’ve been dealing with Alexa playing Halloween sounds when I ask questions. It’s a fun feature, but it gets a bit annoying after a while. I discovered that you can disable this by going to the Alexa app, selecting the device, and turning off the Halloween sounds option under Settings. It’s a simple fix that makes interactions smoother.
Has anyone else tried the Aqara FP1E or found creative ways to use presence detection in their homes? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences!
