As wildfire season continues to impact air quality, many of us are turning to specialized filters to protect our homes. I recently purchased a wildfire filter, hoping it would make a noticeable difference compared to my standard filter. However, after testing it under moderate AQI levels (100-150), I noticed little variation in indoor air quality readings (50-60). This has led me to wonder: is there a practical difference between wildfire filters and standard ones, or is the standard filter sufficient for smoke particles?
I’d love to hear others’ experiences—have you noticed a significant improvement with wildfire-specific filters? Any tips on optimizing air filtration during wildfires would be greatly appreciated! ![]()
