Exploring the Govee Cloud Ceiling and HA Performance

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with the Govee Cloud Ceiling and how it’s transformed my home’s ambiance. It’s amazing how a few taps on my phone can completely change the vibe of the room, whether I’m aiming for a calm atmosphere or something more vibrant. I’ve been having a blast experimenting with different scenes and would love to hear how others are using their Govee devices!

However, I’ve also been dealing with some performance issues with my Home Assistant setup. Recently, I noticed that HA is running quite slowly, especially after updating to the latest version. Each time I refresh, it takes a while to load the data. I’ve tried deleting the database, but the issue persists after a few hours. The database isn’t that large—only 1.4 MB—so I’m a bit puzzled. I’m running HA via Docker on a Synology NAS, and I’m wondering if anyone has encountered similar issues or has suggestions to improve performance.

On a lighter note, I’ve also been exploring ways to integrate my smart devices more seamlessly. For instance, I’ve been using my Govee lights alongside other smart switches and bulbs, and it’s been a great way to create cohesive lighting scenes. I’d love to hear about others’ setups and any tips for optimizing smart home integrations!

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences. Let’s keep the community spirit alive and share our journeys with these amazing technologies! :star2:
