The ability to preview notifications with HTML formatting is another nice touch, making notifications more informative and visually appealing.
On another note, I’ve been trying to integrate my UniFi Video cameras into HomeKit using Home Assistant. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but I’ve found some great resources and guides online that have helped me get started. If anyone else is looking to do the same, I’d recommend checking out the Home Assistant documentation and some community forums for tips and tricks. It’s been a rewarding experience, and I’m thrilled to have my cameras fully integrated now.
I also wanted to touch on a common issue I’ve come across—disabling the “Assist” icon in the top bar of Home Assistant. After some digging, I found that it’s not as straightforward as just removing a component, but there are workarounds. Lastly, I’ve been experimenting with setting up my smart lights to turn on at sunset and off at 23:30. It’s been a great way to ensure my home is well-lit in the evenings without wasting energy late at night.
