I’ve been absolutely smitten with the GOVEE Mini Aura since it first lit up my nights. There’s something undeniably magical about how it casts a soft glow through my room, creating the perfect ambiance for winding down after a long day. But, as much as I adore it, there’s one thing that’s been bugging me—brightness.
The Mini Aura’s 1% brightness setting is a dream. It’s subtle, calming, and just bright enough to navigate without feeling like I’m in a spotlight. However, as soon as I bump it up to 5%, it feels almost too bright. It’s like going from a cozy fireplace to a floodlit stage. I get that it’s designed to be versatile, but I can’t help but feel like it’s missing a middle ground. Would it be possible to tone down the brightness scale a bit or add more granular settings?
I understand that it’s a night light, and not everyone might mind the brighter side. But for me, it’s all about creating that perfect balance—something soft enough to lull me to sleep but still functional enough to serve as a gentle guide through the night. A slightly dimmer option would make it my go-to for every night, not just the occasional.
That said, I can’t deny how much I love the Mini Aura overall. Its compact design, ease of use, and the sheer joy of watching it glow in the dark make it a must-have in my smart home setup. If GOVEE could tweak the brightness just a notch, it’d be the ultimate addition to my nightly routine. What do you think? Have you found the perfect brightness sweet spot with yours?
