I’ve recently been diving into the world of custom automations in Home Assistant, and it’s been a fascinating journey! 
One of the most exciting aspects for me has been figuring out how to create automations that truly adapt to my daily routines. For instance, I’ve been experimenting with setting up an automation that triggers a specific scene when I leave the house, ensuring that all my smart devices are in the perfect state for when I return. 
However, I’ve encountered a few hurdles along the way. I tried setting up an automation that would activate between sunset and sunrise, but every time I saved it, the time settings reverted back to sunrise to sunset. 
This was a bit perplexing, and I’m curious if others have faced similar issues or have found a workaround. 
Another area I’m exploring is integrating multiple devices from different brands into a seamless system. For example, I have a Roborock vacuum that I’d love to control via Home Assistant, but I’m still figuring out how to set it up to clean specific maps without having to re-scan each time. 
It would be amazing to have a dashboard where I can select the floor plan and start cleaning with just a click!
