Hello everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with the Govee Ceiling Light Pro (H60A6). After hearing so many positive reviews, I decided to give it a try, replacing my old Govee ceiling light. The installation process was surprisingly straightforward—only two wires to connect! However, my setup required a bit more creativity since I had to cut a hole in the ceiling tile and lay a board across two T-bars to access the junction box. Despite the initial challenges, the ease of installation made it all worthwhile. One of the standout features of this light is its compatibility with various DIY projects. I’ve experimented with a few custom setups, and the results have been nothing short of amazing. However, I did encounter a couple of issues that I hope will be addressed in future firmware updates. For instance, the ‘Random Colors’ function only cycles through a single color, which is a bit disappointing given the light’s potential. Additionally, I experienced a lockup issue twice, which required turning off the light switch for about 20 seconds to reset it. While this wasn’t a major inconvenience, it did pause my DIY projects temporarily.Despite these minor hiccups, I’m thoroughly impressed with the Govee Ceiling Light Pro. Its versatility and vibrant color options make it a fantastic addition to any smart home setup. I’m excited to continue exploring its capabilities and can’t wait to see what improvements the future holds. If you’re considering upgrading your lighting system, I highly recommend giving this one a try!Thank you for reading, and I look forward to hearing about your experiences with the Govee Ceiling Light Pro or any other smart lighting solutions you’ve tried. Let’s keep the DIY spirit alive and continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with smart home technology! ![]()
