Hello everyone! I’ve recently discovered the fascinating world of NFC tags and I’m absolutely thrilled about the possibilities they bring to home automation. 
NFC tags, for those who may not be familiar, are these small, unobtrusive stickers that can store data and interact with NFC-enabled devices. They seem like the perfect tool to take my smart home setup to the next level!
I’ve always been a fan of automating as much of my daily routine as possible, but until now, I’ve relied heavily on voice commands and manual app interactions. NFC tags, however, open up a whole new dimension of convenience. Imagine walking through your front door and having your lights automatically turn on, your thermostat adjust to your preferred temperature, and your favorite playlist start playing—all triggered by a simple tap of an NFC tag on your keychain. 
I’ve started experimenting with NFC tags around my home. For instance, I’ve placed one near my desk to trigger a ‘work mode’ scene, which dims the lights, adjusts the thermostat, and even silences my phone. Another tag by my front door activates a ‘leave the house’ routine, turning off unnecessary lights and appliances, and arming the security system. The possibilities are truly endless!
