As someone who has recently transitioned from iRule to OpenHAB, I am thrilled by the endless possibilities this platform offers. My goal has been to integrate control over my IR devices—such as my TV, set-top box, and Blu-ray player—using an iPad. Previously, I relied on GlobalCache iTach IP2IR with iRule, which worked seamlessly. Now, with OpenHAB 3.0.1 installed on my Mac, I’ve been attempting to replicate this functionality using the GlobalCache binding.
I’ve followed the documentation closely, set up the MAP file, and configured the necessary String Items and buttons in the UI. However, despite all these efforts, the iTach doesn’t seem to respond. I’ve scoured forums and community posts for similar issues, but I’m still stuck.
