After spending considerable time setting up my Homey ecosystem, I’ve been experimenting with integrating the Shelly Plus 1 PM into my setup. The experience has been both exciting and a bit challenging, and I’d love to share my journey and seek some insights from the community.
I’ve been using the Shelly Plus 1 PM alongside the Homey Bridge, and while the device itself works perfectly when configured directly on the Shelly app, I’m encountering some inconsistencies when trying to leverage it through Homey. Specifically, I’ve set up two flows to control a heating element based on temperature thresholds. The flows are visible in the Homey app, but they don’t seem to trigger any actions on my devices. This is puzzling because the same settings work flawlessly on the Shelly app.
I’ve double-checked the configurations, ensured that all devices are properly connected, and even reset the Shelly device to rule out any software glitches. Despite these efforts, the issue persists. I’m curious if others have faced similar challenges when integrating Shelly devices with Homey or if there are specific settings I might be overlooking.
On a positive note, I’ve been impressed with the flexibility and user-friendly interface of Homey. It’s incredibly satisfying to see how seamlessly most devices work together under one ecosystem. The ability to create custom flows and automate routines has already enhanced my daily life in ways I hadn’t anticipated.
