I’ve recently been diving into the world of smart lighting, and I must say, it’s been an incredibly rewarding experience. Combining my Govee lights with the Vera 3 system has opened up a whole new level of home automation that I never thought possible. Let me share some of my insights and experiences with you all!

While I haven’t quite cracked that yet, it’s definitely something I’m exploring!
Another thing I’ve been experimenting with is using my Govee lights to enhance my home security setup. By integrating motion sensors with the Vera 3, I’ve been able to create a system where the lights automatically turn on when movement is detected, even during the day if the light levels are low. It’s a small touch, but it makes me feel much more secure.
For anyone out there looking to embark on a similar journey, my advice would be to start small and build up gradually. Begin with a few key lights and scenes, and as you become more comfortable, expand your setup. Don’t hesitate to dive into the scripting features of your hub—it’s a powerful tool that can really take your smart lighting to the next level.
