As a homeowner who’s recently delved into the world of smart lighting, I’ve been absolutely fascinated by the capabilities of Zigbee bulbs. I recently installed 14 Innr Zigbee bulbs throughout my home, and while they’ve been working perfectly individually, I’ve noticed a minor issue when triggering scenes. Specifically, when I activate a scene to turn all the bulbs off, 1 or 2 bulbs don’t respond immediately. It’s not always the same ones, and if I trigger the scene again, those remaining bulbs eventually switch off. I suspect this might be due to the network congestion when sending multiple commands at once.
To address this, I’ve been researching ways to optimize my Zigbee network. I purchased an Aeotec Range Repeater Zi to improve signal strength, but the issue persists. I’m curious if others have experienced similar challenges and how they’ve resolved them. Have you found any workarounds or optimizations that ensure all bulbs respond to scene commands reliably? I’m also considering whether my OpenHAB configuration might be contributing to the problem, as I’ve associated one item with multiple channels. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
On a more positive note, the ability to control all these bulbs seamlessly from my smartphone or voice assistant has been a game-changer. It’s amazing how smart lighting can enhance the ambiance of a room with just a few taps or a simple voice command. I’m excited to continue exploring the full potential of my Zigbee setup and look forward to hearing from the community on how to refine my system further.
