As a newbie in this space, I’ve been exploring its features and came across something that’s sparking my curiosity: the USB-C port.
From what I understand, this USB-C port handles both power supply and Ethernet connectivity. I’m wondering if this could be the game-changer we’ve been waiting for when it comes to expanding Homey’s capabilities. Specifically, I’m curious about whether this USB-C port could support standards like EnOcean, which aren’t natively supported by Homey.
Would it be possible to connect additional modules or adapters via USB-C to enable EnOcean functionality? I’m thinking this could open up a whole new world of integration possibilities, especially for users like me who want to incorporate a wider range of devices into their smart home setup.
