Exploring the Potential of Wyze and Govee in My Smart Home Setup

I’ve been diving into the world of smart home devices lately, and I must say, it’s been an incredible journey! :star2: I recently decided to switch from my old ARLO system to WYZE cameras, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results so far. The local recording feature is a huge plus, and the price point is unbeatable! :shopping_cart: I’ve also been exploring Govee products, and their hexagon lights have become a favorite in my home. The vibrant colors and calming effects are perfect for winding down after a long day. :bulb:One thing I’ve been experimenting with is integrating IFTTT applets into my setup. I set up a routine where my lights dim and my camera notifications turn off when I’m at home, but I noticed something odd—my notifications were still coming through! :rotating_light: After some troubleshooting, I realized it might be an issue with how I had my Wyze app notifications configured. I decided to turn them off completely and rely on the applet logs instead. It’s been working smoothly ever since! :hammer_and_wrench:I’d love to hear from others who’ve successfully integrated multiple brands into their setups. How do you handle notifications and applet configurations? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated! :hugs:
