I’ve recently stumbled upon the Rachio Community integration for Hubitat, and I must say, it’s been a game-changer for my smart irrigation setup! 
The Rachio Community offers a wealth of features that take smart watering to the next level. One of the standout aspects is the Dashboard integration, which provides a clear overview of my watering schedule, skips, and weather insights—all in one place. 
The ability to color-code different schedules and programs adds a layer of customization that I really appreciate.
What truly sets this integration apart is its support for Rachio smart hose timers. Being able to monitor and control my irrigation system remotely has been a huge convenience, especially during those busy weeks when I can’t check the garden myself. 
Another feature I’ve come to love is the Next Run and Last Run data. This allows me to automate actions based on my irrigation schedule, which has been incredibly useful for optimizing water usage. 
For instance, I’ve set up a rule to remind me to check the soil moisture before the next scheduled run if there’s been recent rainfall.
The integration also exposes Rain Sensor State and Monthly Watering Summary, which are invaluable for tracking and adjusting my irrigation habits. It’s satisfying to see how much water I’m saving each month thanks to these insights!
One thing I’d like to highlight is the Pause a Running Zone functionality. It’s a lifesaver when I need to stop watering temporarily, perhaps due to unexpected rain or a sudden change in plans. 
This feature adds a layer of flexibility that I hadn’t anticipated.
While exploring the Rachio Community, I discovered that it uses some undocumented Rachio APIs for enhanced functionality. While this adds exciting features, it’s important to note that there might be occasional hiccups due to potential changes in the API. However, the benefits far outweigh this minor consideration.
I’d also like to mention the Icon Pack support, which adds a visual touch to the Dashboard. The icons for different skip reasons (like rain, wind, or freeze) make it easy to quickly understand why a watering event was skipped.
