Hi all, I wanted to share my recent experiences with the Wyze app and my Homey device. First off, the Wyze app has been a bit of a mystery box lately. I opened it up one day, and there was this strange video editor-like interface with a green screen. It was pretty amusing, but it didn’t make much sense to me. I closed the app and reopened it, and it was gone. I’m not sure if others have seen this, but it was definitely an interesting moment!
On another note, I’ve been using the Homey device for a while now, and I wanted to talk about the charging experience. I recently replaced my old charging cable with a standard micro USB cable, thinking it would work just as well. However, after switching, my Homey went into a red ring of death mode. It was a bit scary, but switching back to the original cable fixed everything. I guess there’s something special about the original cable after all!
Another thing I wanted to mention is the Wyze doorbell pro. I’ve been having some trouble with the time and date not displaying in the app, even though I’ve turned on the timestamp watermark in advanced settings. If anyone has any tips on how to fix this, I’d really appreciate it.
