I recently upgraded my Wyze hub to the latest software version, 4.32.9.249, and I must say, it’s been quite the rollercoaster. Initially, everything seemed to work seamlessly—my sensors were connected, and the interface was responsive. However, after a few days, I noticed some concerning issues. The hub started experiencing frequent disconnections, and the night vision on my cameras became inconsistent. What’s more, the auto-refresh feature stopped working, leaving me with outdated sensor readings.
I reached out to Wyze support, and they assured me that these issues were being looked into. In the meantime, I’ve taken to manually refreshing the sensors and keeping the hub plugged in at all times to maintain connectivity. While this isn’t an ideal solution, it’s been the only way to keep my system functional.
I’m curious to hear if others have encountered similar problems with the latest update. Have you experienced any instability or feature malfunctions? What steps have you taken to mitigate these issues? I’d love to hear your experiences and any workaround solutions you’ve discovered.
On a more positive note, I’ve been experimenting with the Wyze app’s new Smart Focus feature on my Cam v4. It’s impressive how smoothly the video playback works with the microSD card integration. The ability to review footage directly on the app without buffering is a huge plus. I’d love to see more features like this in future updates!
Let’s keep the conversation going—share your thoughts, experiences, and tips below. Together, we can navigate these challenges and make the most out of our Wyze setups.
