I’ve heard great things about the Tado X wired thermostats, but I’m a bit concerned about compatibility with my existing Ideal Logic Combi 35 boiler and Danfoss valves. I know the website doesn’t list Ideal as compatible, but I’m hoping there might be a workaround or a community solution out there. Has anyone successfully used Tado with a similar setup?
Another area I’m exploring is security cameras. I’ve been using Wyze Cam 2 devices and love their continuous recording feature. However, I’m a bit worried about what happens if the SD card gets stolen. I’d love to know if the videos are still streamed to the cloud so I can access them even without the SD card. Also, I’ve been thinking about setting up a dash cam using one of my Wyze V3 cameras. It seems like a great budget option, but I’m curious if anyone else has tried this or has any tips on the best way to mount it.
On the automation front, I’ve been working on setting up some routines based on my phone’s location. I created an automation that turns on the lights in my entertainment center when I’m home and it’s after sunset but before 10 PM. However, I’m not entirely sure if the trigger works as intended. It seems like the automation only activates when the trigger event happens during the specified time window. I’d love to confirm if this is how it’s supposed to work or if there’s a better way to ensure it’s always monitoring my location.
Lastly, I’ve been curious about the best colors for sleep. I’ve heard that certain colors can help improve sleep quality, but I’m not sure which ones are the most effective. If anyone has any insights or recommendations, I’d be really grateful!
